International conference

Writing in Tibetan, but also in English or Chinese, living in Tibet proper or in exile, Tibetan women are slowly claiming and carving a space for themselves in the rich Tibetan literary scene that, until very recently, was dominated by male authors. By bringing together scholars from various disciplines and countries, this international conference will explore and charter this so far little-known world.
