The members of SEECHAC were saddened to learn of the passing of Madame Laure Feugère on April 18, 2025, and offer their sincere condolences to her loved ones.A Knight of Arts and Letters and Curator at the MNAA-Guimet (Department of Indian Arts), Madame Feugère was a loyal member of SEECHAC since the association’s creation in 2007 and supported its work with unwavering enthusiasm.She was admired by all for her courage and enthusiasm, in addition to her extensive knowledge.Outside of India, she had a keen interest in textiles and Central Asia.

She participated in the first conference organized by SEECHAC in Paris in 2009 and attended subsequent ones.
